Stewie2k with a knife kill to open up the event, and Liquid took the pistol round, but Bad News Bears answered back when they were able to upgrade their gear, stringing together three rounds to make it a tie. The two teams were off to a very close start, and the rest of the half went back-and-forth. However, Team Liquid still managed to stay in control as they ended the half with a 9-6 advantage. Jonji and company from Bad New Bears didn’t succeed on the defense and were off to a bad start, as Liquid secured the first three rounds of the half. They tried to keep their comeback hopes alive, but Liquid was just too strong on the offense and went on to close the map 16-9, only allowing the Bad News Bears to add three rounds to their tally in the second half.
