Riot Games may be exploring a new subscription model that would offer perks across Valorant, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift. Several players have recently reported receiving surveys asking whether they would pay monthly for a multi game subscription and what rewards they would expect in return. While nothing is confirmed yet, the details from these surveys give the clearest picture so far of what Riot might be considering.
The information surfaced through community posts and was highlighted in a breakdown by Keltsu, who covered the growing speculation around this potential Riot wide subscription.
Where the rumor started
The first known instance came from a TFT player who shared a survey on Reddit. The survey asked which gaming subscriptions the player had heard of or used, then presented a hypothetical monthly Riot subscription. It listed possible perks for TFT and noted that similar benefits would apply to League of Legends, Wild Rift, and Valorant.
Shortly after, another example appeared from a Valorant player named Valor Haberi, who reported receiving a similar survey. This one specifically asked whether he would pay monthly for an app that unlocks exclusive benefits across Valorant and other Riot titles.
What perks were listed for Valorant
The Valorant section of the survey mentioned two key perks tied to the subscription.
20 percent XP bonus
Players would receive an increased XP gain rate across the game, speeding up battle pass progress and agent contract progression.
All agents unlocked
The subscription would give immediate access to the full Valorant agent roster. This mirrors the current perk offered through Xbox Game Pass but would instead come directly through the Riot client and be available on PC without needing Game Pass.
These two perks alone would remove much of the early progression grind and make the game more accessible for newer players.
Different price points are being tested
One important detail is that the subscription cost was not consistent.
One player received a proposed price of 5 to 7 dollars
Another saw a proposed price of 1 to 2 dollars
This suggests Riot is testing multiple pricing tiers to measure willingness to pay and see what value players assign to cross game perks.
How the community is reacting so far
Reactions are mixed. Some players like the idea of a cheap subscription that provides XP boosts and unlocks agents instantly. Others argue that subscriptions risk creeping monetization too far into the ecosystem, especially with existing battle passes and cosmetic stores.
However, only a small portion of the player base has seen these surveys, so community sentiment is not yet clear or settled.
Does this mean a Valorant subscription is confirmed
