Season 27: Amped is packed with free items that players can earn just by completing in-game challenges. Respawn is giving players multiple opportunities to collect Amped Packs, event cosmetics, and even themed trackers during the new split. From the start of the season through the holidays, there will be several limited-time rewards available to everyone who logs in and participates.
Week 1 free Amped Pack

Players can already earn the first free Amped Pack by completing a set of simple challenges available during the first week of the season. These missions encourage you to try the new features and reworked legends while earning easy rewards along the way.
To unlock your first free Amped Pack, complete the following:
- Play 10 matches as Valkyrie, Horizon, or Rampart in any mode.
- Perform 10 mantle boosts in any mode.
- Deal 5,000 damage with SMGs in any mode.
- Restore 1,000 health in any game mode.

Once all four tasks are complete, the pack will be added directly to your account. Each of these challenges is designed to highlight the new mobility systems introduced in Season 27, such as the mantle boost and updated legend abilities.
Tips for completing the challenges
Players can complete most of these in just a few play sessions:
- Stick to Valkyrie, Horizon, or Rampart until you reach 10 matches.
- Equip an SMG like the Volt or Alternator to deal consistent damage.
- Try using support or defensive legends to restore health quickly.
- Bind the new mantle boost button and practice using it during fights or rotations.
Additional free packs and rewards
Respawn has confirmed that more rewards will be dropping throughout the split. Here’s what to expect in the coming weeks:
- November 11: 1 free Amped Pack.
- November 18: 1 free event pack for the Katana Event.
- November 18: A themed tracker inspired by dual katanas.
- December 16: 1 free Amped Pack.
- Holiday period: 1 Holiday Retro Pack including exclusive Christmas skins.
- December 30: 3 normal Apex Packs.
- Throughout the season: 1 free Epic Pack and 1 standard Apex Pack.
Each reward becomes available automatically once the corresponding challenge or event goes live. Players should check the “Rewards” tab and claim any free packs before the end of their availability window.
Katana event details

The Katana Event, scheduled for November 18, will include its own set of challenges and a themed reward tracker. The free tracker will showcase the new dual katana cosmetics and allow players to earn points toward the event’s limited-time rewards. Completing event objectives will also grant one free event pack tied to the Katana collection.
Holiday rewards and end-of-year bonuses
The second half of the split will focus on the holiday celebration. Players can expect a Holiday Retro Pack releasing around mid-December, featuring winter-themed cosmetics and returning festive skins. Later in the month, three standard Apex Packs will be distributed as a final thank-you reward before the new year.
Additional updates

Outside of the free rewards, there are a few smaller gameplay updates this week:
- Olympus has been removed from Ranked and Control modes due to ongoing performance issues.
- A Volt recolor is now available in the Exotic Shop.
- A new breakable window has been added in the Quarantine Zone, allowing for more dynamic engagements in that area.
Season 27: Amped is already shaping up to be one of the most generous seasons Apex Legends has seen in a while. Between the multiple free Amped Packs, themed event rewards, and holiday cosmetics, players have plenty of reasons to log in each week. Even casual players can easily complete the weekly challenges and grab some rare cosmetics before the season wraps up.
