With the dust settled on the Austin Major, BLAST and data partner GRID have shared a statistical snapshot of the event, including everything from kill counts, bomb plants and chicken casualties.
Across the 3,700 rounds played, the tournament recorded a total of 24,198 kills, 2,054 bomb plants, 750 detonations, and 478 defuses.
Interestingly, 1,646 rounds, which is roughly 44%, ended without a plant, underlining the dominance of CT sides and the impact of early engagements.

One of the standout numbers? Chickens. A total of 584 chickens were killed throughout the Major, with 3DMAX’s Ex3rcice claiming the crown for most avian casualties at 15.
The tournament also saw more deaths (24,365) than credited kills, a discrepancy of 167 explained by non-player-related causes such as fire damage, bomb explosions, or fall deaths.
