Nemiga took down HEROIC in a high-octane duel to progress at BLAST Austin. It will be the first time they have made the main stage of a Counter-Strike Major in the organization’s history.

This elimination marks the end of HEROIC’s squad, as SunPayus and sAW will make their move to G2 after the Major.

Nemiga steal a hard-fought Mirage

HEROIC took the T-side of their map pick 8-4, and looked clinical while doing it.

Xfl0ud was the standout, dropping a 2.17 rating on the terrorist side. LNZ also had several entry kills that secured HEROIC rounds.

Nemiga managed to stay alive by winning both pistols, and through a strong B-hold with the AWP from riskyb0b.

On their T-side, the game got scrappy as Nemiga took home a 3v5, and took the lead powered by strong performances from khaN and zweih. The Kazakhstani AWPer stepped up to give Nemiga the game, top-fragging for them.

They were able to take the map 13-11 by breaking HEROIC’s economy near the end.

HEROIC show up late to Dust2

Dust2 had defeat on the cards for HEROIC, as Nemiga took over the game instantly to get up to 8-0 on the scoreboard.

Yxngstxr only got his first kills in round 10 of the game, as it looked dire for the Norwegian-owned organization to progress.

It came down to tN1R’s 1v2 at the final stages of the first half, which he clutched to allow HEROIC to win 3 CT rounds in total.

HEROIC came back to get up to 9 rounds, thanks to a consistent performance from SunPayus.

However, they fumbled a round against pistols, as Nemiga rolled their way through to the top 16.

Zweih, once again was the top-fragger with 22 kills on Dust2.
