HEROIC took on BetBoom on Mirage and were trailing 5-4 in the first half. It took a rallying performance from SunPayus to keep them with 6 rounds on their CT-side.
On their T-side, they traded blows, as Ax1le picked up a 4k on a force buy round. tN1R replied with a 3k, all headshots.
HEROIC put together consecutive rounds afterwards, until they hit a brick wall. They eventually managed to close out the game with a B-site execute, forcing BetBoom onto pistols.
This puts HEROIC in the 1-1 pool, where they await an opponent, and BetBoom drops to the 0-2 games.
Lynn Vision shock Falcons
After taking a 13-4 defeat to FURIA on Nuke, the Chinese team opted to play it again against the #4 team in the world.
Falcons were not in their usual form, as m0NESY only picked up 8 kills on their CT-side. Lynn Vision took full advantage and got 5 rounds on the T side.
Lynn Vision won the CT-side pistol and the conversion, and stacked two rounds on top.
After that, Lynn Vision used the momentum to finish the game against Falcons, casting them to face elimination. With an active CT-side, they never let Falcons find their feet.
The standout performer was Westmelon, who won a crucial round in the first half, and had 109 ADR and a 1.62 rating.
