Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has broken into the Top 50 of Valve’s Global Ranking for the first time.
After months of lackluster results, Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer and company have finally positioned themselves at a more fitting spot, now sitting at #39.
The boost comes on the back of NIP’s victory at the small LAN tournament Fragadelphia Las Vegas 2025 this past weekend.
In the casino capital, NIP secured the title ahead of teams like NRG, BLUEJAYS, and Sharks, defeating the latter in the Grand Final.
Despite a modest $5,500 first-place prize, the win will no doubt feel rewarding for NIP, as it also granted them valuable VRS points.
192 VRS points, to be exact.
That gain means NIP climbed an impressive 46 spots on the important leaderboard — from #85 to #39.
In less than two weeks, NIP will get the chance to test themselves against the Counter-Strike elite as they kick off their campaign at PGL Astana. It will mark their first top-tier event of the year.
