Ninjas in Pyjamas’ new Counter-Strike project has been nothing short of a disaster so far.
The team, headlined by Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer and Rasmus “sjuush” Beck, was built with a clear objective: gather enough VRS points to secure invitations to the big tournaments and ultimately the Austin Major.
However, despite facing lower-tier competition for most of the season, that task has proven to be a massive challenge for Snappi and company.
One more to the tally
Today, NIP suffered yet another setback, falling to Fire Flux in the closed qualifier for CCT Season 2 Europe Series 19.
The defeat marks NIP’s fifth consecutive failure to qualify for a tournament, with losses to teams like Iberian Family, Aurora, and CYBERCHOKE along the way.
NIP is currently positioned at #157 on Valve’s global ranking with 665 VRS points in the bank.

Fresh squad for 2025
NIP started 2025 fresh, signing four new players, led by Snappi and sjuush. They were joined by Michel “ewjerkz” Pinto and Rafael “arrozdoce” Wing, with Artem “r1nkle” Moroz as the only returning member.
So far, NIP has rotated between arrozdoce and stand-in Audric “JACKZ” Jug in qualifiers, but success remains out of reach.
