The Masters Madrid winner is back where he won his biggest title, a year after leaving to captain Cloud9.
Sentinels have signed Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro as their sixth man for the 2027 VCT season. The club announced it with a video on X on , calling him “officially a Sentinel (again)”.
The post had passed one million views by Sunday morning.
The same route as in 2023
The move mirrors October 2023, when Zellsis left Cloud9 and joined Sentinels as a sixth man. He soon made the starting lineup, won Masters Madrid with the team and finished fourth at Champions Seoul in 2024. He stayed through 2025, a year in which Sentinels qualified for all three international events.
For 2026 he went back to Cloud9 to lead a team for the first time. It did not work out: Cloud9 were sixth at Kickoff and missed the playoffs in both stages, and Zellsis left the team last Monday.
A Sentinels rebuild with old friends
Sentinels had a poor 2026 as well, going out of Kickoff in the bottom four and failing to reach the playoffs in either stage. Since then they have signed OXY, brawk and canezerra, and kept in-game leader johnqt. OXY was Zellsis’ teammate at Cloud9 this year.
The Sentinels squad now reads:
- johnqt
- Reduxx
- OXY
- brawk
- canezerra
- cortezia
- Zellsis (sixth man)
- Head coach: Ewok
