VALORANT Patch 12.10 is officially here. While it is a relatively light update in terms of agent balance, it introduces a massive quality-of-life feature the community has been requesting for years, alongside new maps for Skirmish and the return of VCT Pick’ems.
If you are ready to start VOD reviewing your duo or locking in your esports predictions, here is the complete breakdown of everything you need to know about Patch 12.10.
Social Replay Sharing is Finally Here
The absolute standout feature of Patch 12.10 is the expansion of the replay system. You can now watch your friends’ replays directly from their Career page.
This highly anticipated feature works across almost all major game modes, including Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, Premier, and Custom Games.
Important Note for Custom Games: If you are running 10-mans or private scrims, the lobby owner must manually enable replay recording before the game starts. This setting does not carry over automatically and must be turned on again for every new custom match.
VCT Masters London Pick’ems
With Masters London right around the corner, in-client and web Pick’ems are officially returning on May 27th (PT).
- Swiss Stage Predictions: Players will be tasked with predicting which teams will advance out of the 8-team Swiss groups.
- The Rewards: Locking in your predictions will earn you an exclusive participation Title. If you manage to correctly guess a flawless 2-0 run, you will earn bonus points. Additional exclusive rewards will be distributed to the top overall performers globally.
Skirmish Ascension Updates
The recently added 1v1 and 2v2 Skirmish Ascension modes are getting a fantastic quality-of-life update and an expanded map pool.
- All Agents Unlocked: You can now select and play any agent on the roster in Skirmish Ascension, even if you have not unlocked them on your personal account.
- New Maps: Riot has added two brand new arenas—Skirmish D and Skirmish E. Both maps are available in all queues and custom games. Unlike the flat arenas we have seen previously, these new maps feature vertical ramps designed to create more aggressive peek angles and dynamic movement options during fights.
Key Bug Fixes
As always, Riot deployed a handful of targeted bug fixes to clean up agent interactions and UI issues.
Agent Fixes:
- Mix: Fixed an issue where Impulse healing would briefly remain on enemies after they left the area. Resolved a bug where Impulse could cancel weapon and ability equip animations. Fixed an issue where spamming alt-fire caused the ability to activate in the wrong form.
- Harbor: Fixed a bug where Reckoning would disappear early if the player spammed the cast button during activation.
Gameplay & System Fixes:
- Buy Phase Exploit: Riot officially patched the frustrating bug that allowed players to accidentally (or intentionally) kill enemies from spawn during the pre-round buy phase. (Note: Riot noted this fix was actually pushed live early during Patch 12.09 via a hotfix).
- Skirmish Modes: Fixed a 2v2 overtime issue where the timer would freeze at exactly 0.5 seconds.
- UI & Store: Fixed missing VCT bundle details on the final confirmation screen.
- Console: Resolved clipping issues that occurred when confirming gun purchases directly from the Battle Pass.
