Massive VALORANT Leaks: Devastating Neon Nerfs and a New Premium Bundle

Neon mains might want to brace themselves. Following recent developer AMA comments hinting at upcoming balance changes, a massive new leak suggests that Riot Games is preparing to hit the speedy Duelist with a heavy round of nerfs. On top of the meta shakeup, data miners have also uncovered details about the next Premium skin bundle coming to the store.

If these leaks turn out to be accurate, the next patch could completely change how Neon is played. Here is a full breakdown of the rumored ability nerfs and what we know about the upcoming weapon collection.

The Leaked Neon Nerfs

According to the latest leaks, Riot is looking at stripping away significant portions of Neon’s utility and movement capabilities. The rumored changes target almost every single ability in her kit:

  • Fast Lane (C): Her dual-wall tunnel could be reduced to just a single wall, drastically changing how she isolates angles and entries onto sites.
  • High Gear (E): Neon may lose the ability to have her weapon equipped and fire while sliding, forcing a much more vulnerable recovery time after a movement play.
  • Relay Bolt (Q): The number of concussive stun bounces could be reduced from two to just one, limiting her ability to clear deep corners.
  • Overdrive (Ultimate): Her ultimate could completely lose its movement speed bonus, stripping away her signature hyper-mobility while channeling the lightning beam.

Will Riot Actually Gut Neon?

While it is common for developers to test extreme changes internally, it is highly unlikely that Riot will implement every single one of these nerfs in a single patch. Doing so would effectively destroy the agent’s viability.

However, players should expect at least one of these changes to go live. The most likely target is High Gear. Currently, Neon’s ability to slide at high speeds while maintaining weapon accuracy allows her to take incredibly aggressive, hard-to-track gunfights. Removing her ability to shoot mid-slide would force players to use the movement purely for repositioning rather than entry-fragging, bringing her power level back in line with other Duelists.

New Premium Bundle Leaked

Alongside the balance changes, leakers have revealed that a new Premium weapon bundle is on the horizon.

The collection is expected to feature the standard bundle format: four weapon skins and one melee. While the exact aesthetic and weapon choices remain under wraps, the “Premium” tier designation means players can expect high-quality visual effects, custom animations, and a dynamic finisher.

Community speculation is already running wild regarding the melee weapon, with many hoping Riot delivers a unique dagger or sword with brand-new equip and inspect animations. With the Champions 2026 bundle currently dominating the store, this next Premium drop will have to bring something truly special to compete for players’ VALORANT Points.
