Wildcard’s BLAST Rivals Season 1 run came to a disappointing end last night, as the North American side was swept aside by Danil “donk” Kryshkovets and a dominant Spirit.

Following the elimination in Copenhagen, we caught up with Wildcard captain Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz, who didn’t hold back when reflecting on the team’s struggles – and his own performance.

– It’s the worst version of our team, but also the worst version of myself to be honest. I have never put up numbers this low. So, I got to get back to work and find a different way to have more impact in this team. Because I’m letting my team down.

The 31-year-old in-game leader has averaged a 0.87 rating across 2025, and was at the bottom of the scoreboard against Spirit with a 0.34 rating.

– It feels really disappointing. I don’t know what more I can do. I have to just change up my routine or something because I’m playing as much as I possibly can. I’m exhausted – Maybe that’s what it is. I’m feeling a little bit burnt out, so maybe I need some rest.

“The team is capable”

Despite the tough losses and clear frustration, stanislaw assures that he still believes in the squad and the project.

– But when you hit a point like this, where you’re having really bad losses, it’s good to start fresh. We will go back home, where we have a lot of time to practice finally. I still believe in my team and players, it’s just about the ways I’ve been setting us up. I know my team is definitely capable, I just feel responsible for letting us down to be honest.

Wildcard’s next challenge will be the BLAST Major in Austin next month.
