FlyQuest has officially announced the signing of Australian Counter-Strike player Justin “jks” Savage, previously benched by Team Liquid. This move marks a return for jks to an Australian-centric lineup for the first time since his tenure with 100 Thieves ended in 2020.
Background of the Transfer
Justin “jks” Savage has competed internationally for notable teams, including Complexity, G2 Esports, and most recently Team Liquid. At Liquid, Savage spent approximately nine months on the active roster before being benched earlier this year to accommodate the arrival of Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek.
FlyQuest chose to acquire jks to replace Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, who has struggled in recent tournaments, notably recording the team’s lowest Big Event rating (0.86) over the past year. In comparison, jks achieved a relatively more stable Big Event rating of 0.98 during his recent stint at Liquid, albeit without significantly standing out in terms of impact.
Current FlyQuest Lineup
FlyQuest’s CS2 roster following this transfer is as follows:
- Joshua “INS” Potter
- Declan “Vexite” Portelli
- Corey “nettik” Browne
- Iulian “regali” Harjău
- Justin “jks” Savage
- Erdenetsogt “erkaSt” Gantulga (Coach)
Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas has been moved to the bench.
