Danish IGLs in crisis: FaZe and NIP sent into VRS hell

After going out last place at BLAST Rotterdam, karrigan and Snappi didn't mince words about their teams' underperformance.

After going out last place at BLAST Rotterdam, karrigan and Snappi didn’t mince words about their teams’ underperformance.

Both Snappi and karrigan were teeming with frustration as their international lineups can’t reach even a fraction of their potential.

I don’t know what to do, because how do you fix this?” Snappi asked. “We still have a chance to make it to the Major, but it really sucks because a win here would have made it a lot easier.

Snappi said in the post-match interview at BLAST Rotterdam that NIP made mistakes in crucial moments of matches. They lost to PARIVISION and then Liquid in 1-2 fashion both times.

When we’re supposed to hide, we overpeek. And when we’re supposed to peek, we hide.

After being knocked out after two close series against Aurora and TYLOO, karrigan was even harsher with FaZe after failing their fifth consecutive tournament.

If we don’t make it to the Major, it’s because we didn’t deserve it.

Dropping down to Tier-2 tournaments

Both FaZe and NIP will be attending lower-tier tournaments in hopes to improve their Major chances.

FaZe will be making the further drop into DracuLAN Season 6 in Bucharest, Romania.

“I don’t even know what this LAN is,” karrigan said talking about DracuLAN. “It’s gonna be a barfight

Seven other “high-seed” teams will be attending, including Aurora and Liquid, so it will not be a walk in the park for them.

NIP has Stake Ranked 1 in Barcelona, Spain next. It’s an eight-team tournament including G2 and HEROIC, with a double-elimination bracket.

With these low standards for NIP and FaZe, there is no Danish IGL in the world anymore leading the CS scene with their calls.
