The Polish team Wisla Krakow took down MAD Lions 2-1 in the Betway Nine to Five 5 Grand Final.
MAD Lions lost against the Polish squad from Wisla Krakow in the grand final and walks away with $15,000 from the prize pool, while the champions leave with 1st place and $35,000.
The Danish team got a good start winning convincingly 16-6 on Nuke, where Ismail “refrezh” Ali and Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand played a big part in the victory on the first map.
Wisla Krakow answered back and proved that they can handle tough situations, taking the second map with a strong CT-side, that secured the Polish team a win on 16-9.
The Grand Final went to the decider on Overpass and all the way to overtime, where both teams didn’t want to give up. Three laps of overtime ended with Wisla Krakow wrapping up the series 2-1 and closing Overpass 25-22.
