Wildcard book Singapore Major place as NRG miss out

A 13-0 Nuke against BARCA settles the last Americas invite, and Wildcard’s final against 100 Thieves tonight decides Europe’s last place too.

Wildcard are going to the PGL Major Singapore. They beat BARCA 2-0 in the FiReSPORTS Last Chance semi-final in Buenos Aires on Sunday, 13-7 on Inferno and 13-0 on Nuke, and that locks up the ninth and final Americas invite, as first reported by Dust2.us. NRG and BESTIA are out of the race.

The North Americans join Liquid and M80 from their own scene. HLTV’s VRS projection counted Wildcard as clinched after the semi-final, up from 56% a day earlier. Valve publish the standings on 2 November.

BARCA picked Inferno, and Wildcard won both pistol rounds on it. They led 8-4 at the half and closed it out 13-7. Wildcard’s own Nuke pick was over almost before it started: 12-0 on the T side, and Jadan “HexT” Postma won a 1v2 in round 13 to finish the map and the series without BARCA scoring a round.

Ethan “reck” Serrano was the best player on the server, 28-15 with 90.9% KAST. In-game leader Nemanja “nEMANHA” Đukić added 29 kills at 100.7 ADR, the highest on the server. That came two days after HexT told Dust2 Brasil that nEMANHA and Sebastian “fr3nd” Kuśmierz had both lost their voices the day before the tournament, with the IGL at about 40%.

HexT knocks out his old team

The decisive series came on Saturday night. Wildcard had lost to BESTIA in the group stage, and the quarter-final against NRG was a straight shootout for one place. HexT, who played for NRG from late 2023 until he joined M80 in July 2025, called it what it was:

The game against NRG is the RMR final.

NRG reached match point at 12-10 on Cache. fr3nd forced overtime, and Wildcard took it 16-14. Jeorge Endicott went 67-42 across the three maps for NRG and still went home.

For NRG it ends a year of rebuilding. Michael “Grim” Wince arrived in February, Jeorge returned in July with Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli, but they were still 11th in the Americas on Saturday, two places short. HLTV now puts their chance of an invite below 1%, the same as paiN after their Gamers Club Masters exit.

Wildcard’s own lineup is just as new. reck and HexT joined in January, nEMANHA in March, Danny “Cxzi” Strzelczyk in April, and fr3nd came back on loan from PURE in September, six months after Wildcard had released him. They are 37th in the VRS and ninth in the Americas, the last team in.

The final now decides Europe

Wildcard have one more series in Buenos Aires: the grand final against 100 Thieves at , with $40,000 for the winner. For Wildcard it is about the trophy. For three European teams it is about Singapore.

As we wrote earlier today, 100 Thieves take Europe’s 18th and last invite if they win. If Wildcard win, HLTV’s VRS calculator now makes Fnatic the favourite at 78.6%, with HOTU at 22.6% and 100 Thieves out. Earlier on Sunday, HLTV had pointed to HOTU as the team a Wildcard title would help most.

BESTIA and BARCA play for third place at . The Major starts in Singapore on 24 November.
