Team Vitality has for many years been synonymous with Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut. The best French player in history, and one of the all-time greats in competitive Counter-Strike has been playing on Vitality since the organization entered CS:GO in October 2018. Today the French organization announced an extension of the long-term partnership.

Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut’s contract was set to expire at the end of 2024, but the star player will now remain at the organization until the end of 2026. ZywOo has been one of the most prolific players of the CS:GO era, where he has battled with Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev throughout the last years about being the best player in the world. Each player has won the award three times.
Vitality and ZywOo won the BLAST.tv Paris Major in 2023, while also the BLAST Fall Final and the BLAST World Final at the tail-end of 2023. In 2024 the Frenchmen has dropped down to #3 on the World Ranking, but remains one of the favorites for the title at the upcoming Major in Copenhagen.
