Team Vitality continued to confirm their status as the main favorites in Group C, which they once again underlined with a win over OG 16-9.
Vitality got off to a great start on Mirage, converting a force buy on the second round before cementing their superiority on the T side with a 1-7 lead. OG was left looking stranded on their CT-side with little to do against the pressure of a Vitality T-side. A dominating first-half performance meant a crucial 11-4 lead for the French going into the second half. The European side showed signs of life at the offense but overall could not get into a rhythm. OG never managed to make Vitality work for it in the second half and could not conjure up a comeback, eventually falling 16-9.
