The two winners from yesterday’s matches faced each other in the upper bracket semifinal.
On dust2 it was Team Vitality who dominated the server. Like yesterday Nivera was chosen instead of misutaaa on dust2. It was however shox and ZywOo who both were putting in around 100 ADR on average. It was only Nils “k1to” Gruhne who were doing business for the Germans in the first half.
RPK rounded off the map with a nice four-kill for Team Vitality, who took dust2 comfortable with 16-10.
On Overpass Team Vitality changed roster once again. Nivera was replaced with misutaaa who responded by making a clutch in the pistol round.
The two teams traded rounds until 10-10. From here on Team Vitality started to dominate the match on their CT-side. The French-side won the map and match with a 16-11 victory on Overpass.
They will now have to wait until Saturday evening to find their opponent for the Grand Final. BIG will play Consolidation Final against either FaZe or Complexity.
