The opening day at the Perfect World Shanghai Major has now been wrapped up after having presented thrilling Counter-Strike action since the early morning this Saturday.
Leading the charge after the first two rounds are The MongolZ, Liquid, FlyQuest and GamerLegion with all four teams taking home victories in their respective Bo1 series today.
Especially FlyQuest’s performance has raised some eyebrows with the Australian underdogs taking down two massive scalps today by crushing Complexity (13-6) and afterwards BIG (13-5) in the second round of the Swiss stage.

Top teams in danger
On the other side of the table, we find Fnatic, Complexity, Rare Atom and Imperial – a quartet that now have their backs to the wall as they can’t afford to lose one more match in the opening stage if they wish to advance.
Clearly a disappointing situation for top teams such as Fnatic and Complexity.
