According to the French esports news site lasource.gg, the famous French streamer KRL, has leaked that Team Vitality is preparing to launch a CS academy and has tapped Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen to lead the project as coach.
The plan, per the report, is to build a pipeline for young talent, with dupreeh bringing the pedigree of a five-time Major champion and former Vitality player to guide a roster in development. The move to coach would mark a new phase in the Dane’s career, shifting from player, to talent and now to staff.
Vitality, currently one of the scene’s standard-bearers, has not yet announced the academy or coaching hire publicly, however Counter-Strike insider GromovCS did previously this year announce that Vitality is opening an academy this year.
