Playoff bound! Statement wins from Vitality and MOUZ

Tensions rise at BLAST Open Lisbon with the group stage entering its final stretch

The late action on Saturday at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 offered up both a thriller and a blowout, as MOUZ and Vitality secured their places in the Group A Upper Final, set to take place on Monday.

The victories also mean that Vitality and MOUZ are the first two teams to book a spot in the playoffs in Lisbon.

MOUZ had to battle their way past Spirit, starting the series with a tough 13-3 loss on Dust2. However, the young squad responded well on Nuke, grinding out a narrow 16-13 win to push it to a decider. On Ancient, the teams traded blows in a long back-and-forth, before MOUZ finally closed it out 25-22.

Vitality, on the other hand, made quick work of Virtus.pro. The French squad looked in full control throughout the series, giving up just 11 rounds across Anubis (13-6) and Inferno (13-5). ZywOo once again led by example, putting in a standout performance to seal the 2-0 sweep.

Saturday’s Results

  • Vitality vs Virtus.pro – 2-0
  • MOUZ vs Spirit – 2-1
  • Astralis vs FaZe – 0-2
  • The Huns vs Falcons – 0-2
