Tournament organiser PGL has decided to cancel its October 2026 CS2 tournament slot because of what the company calls an “unexpected overlap” with ESL Pro League Season 24.
This slot was originally part of PGL’s 2026 schedule that was announced in March 2024. According to PGL’s recent update, another major operator placed several of its events directly on the same dates, prompting PGL to alter its lineup in order to protect competitive quality and logistical feasibility.
Despite removing the October event, PGL still intends to host a major tournament between 22nd October and November 2nd 2026. While this was initially branded as “PGL Belgrade”, the recent statement no longer specifies a location.
