The North American derby went the way of JT and Grim at the Major.
Despite losing the first map, Passion UA have eliminated M80 from the Starladder Budapest Major.
They were the only North American teams left in the Major by the nationalities of the players. Grim came out on top by posting a 1.40 rating across the three maps.
M80 succeeded in winning their map pick of Mirage, where they have an incredibly positive record. However, on Inferno and Train they would only get 12 rounds collectively.
The map was tied 7-7 when Passion had to get it rolling on their T-side of Train, and yet they mopped the floor with M80.
The captain, JT, went 10-2 in kills to send his team through to Stage 3.
