PARIVISION have issued a statement after the September 1 update of the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) placed the team in 35th. The Russian team says that results from ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Cup 1, played from August 11 to September 1, is not counted in the ranking and say a correct tally would put them around 25th.
VRS expert “Udknud” recently noted that Valve refreshes the Regional Standings at about 19:00 CEST on update days. PARIVISION’s last ESL Challenger League match began at 19:30 CEST the same day, so those points likely fell past the cutoff and were not counted in the latest ranking, which would explain the discrepancy they highlight.
