After recently benching AWPer nicoodoz and IGL Chr1zN, OG has now announced cadiaN, set to take over both roles.
A hard time rifling
Prior to joining OG, cadiaN was benched on Astralis after a rough start to 2025. The Danes stats didn’t look too good as he struggled when taken off the AWP, which was given to device.
In his time on Astralis he averaged a 0.84 rating over 114 maps, with their best result being 3rd at PGL Cluj-Napoca.
Quoting the OG post on X, cadiaN himself gave a bit of insight as to why he might have struggled:
“The last two years, and my transition into CS2 has been very difficult. No doubt that circumstances has been tough, and there has been many reasons for the lack of succes – however one thing is for sure, I am yet to find my groove in the new game. I still believe I have a lot to give, and my main goal is to be a part of a team with aligned vision, great ambitions and with mutual respect. With this I am hoping to find my old form, the cadiaN that you all know.”
