xKacpersky continued his riproaring form as ewjerkz excelled to dispatch Fluxo.
Snappi said on broadcast that it has been “a tough year” given his becoming a father. He said that a focus has been to “getting r1nkle back to his old level”.
NIP took on Fluxo in the 2-1 match at Stage 1 of the Budapest Major.
Fluxo won their initial BO1 matches putting them 2-0, before getting outplayed by FlyQuest. NIP lost their opening BO1 to NRG, but followed up with two victories, one an upset against FaZe Clan.
Fluxo 0 T rounds on Nuke
The match started on NIP’s pick of Nuke, where they got off to a 6-0 start against the Brazilians who put up little to no resistance. xKacpersky was 9-0 in kills, before Fluxo woke up.
Fluxo won 5 of the next 6 rounds, but was little consolation, as this was before NIP had even got to their CT side. Even still, decenty found multiple openings, and Fluxo held the A site succesfully multiple times.
On NIP’s CT-side, it was once again no contest as arT got 0 kills, leading Fluxo to no terrorist rounds. ewjerkz showed his best to close out the map easily.
NIP book Train to Stage 2
On Fluxo’s map pick, there was little improvement, as NIP got to a 7-0 CT start.
Fluxo managed 3 clutches to at least get 4 rounds at the half. However, NIP’s T-side was too much for them to handle, as xKacpersky and ewkerjz dominated the outer site.
Snappi said in his post-match interview that NIP’s form has been rising. They did not have proper practice for a month given that both he and Xizt became fathers. He admitted they were on a bad level, but are making strides in recovering.
