Nemiga has just defeated M80 in convincing 2-0 fashion to eliminate them from the Major. Nemiga goes on to fight for their qualification to the top 16 tomorrow.

M80 was the last majority-North American team at the Major, meaning that the region may have fewer spots in the next edition in Budapest, depending on South American teams as well as Team Liquid’s performance.

Nemiga stalls M80 comeback on Ancient

Nemiga and M80 had a close first half on Ancient, with no real standout on either side.

In the second half, Nemiga quickly racked up rounds and got to 12 rounds by high-impact fragging from zweih, getting 7 opening kills.

M80 started mounting a comeback, as they did against OG, but this time fell at the final hurdle as they failed to retake B from Nemiga, losing 11-13.

khaN punishes M80 on dust2

On Nemiga’s pick of dust2, it was a straightforward affair for the Eastern Europeans.

khaN consistently picked off M80 with the AWP, managing 19 kills, just in the first half.
