MOUZ knocks Aurora out of the Major to make it to 2-2

This marks the worst result the Turks have had since the start of the year.

This marks the worst result the Turks have had since the start of the year.

This elimination could not have come at a worse time for Aurora, who have made the playoffs of every tournament this year.

They are eliminated after getting an opening win against FaZe Clan, but then losing to FURIA, G2 Esports and now MOUZ.

MOUZ, on the other hand, continue to bounce back after their 0-2 first day and almost losing to Team Liquid yesterday. They will have a final chance to qualify for the top 8 tomorrow.

MOUZ punish Aurora on Train

The series started on Train, a map they pick only 3.3% of the time, but that Aurora has not won in their last 6 maps.

It went no different this time, as MOUZ took it, despite an 8-4 first half for Aurora.

Wicadia and XANTARES had an admirable half, getting 22 kills between the both of them to keep MOUZ at 4 rounds.

Once it got to MOUZ’s CT-side, it was a one-sided affair as torzsi and Brollan got 13 kills each to dominate the defense.

On Inferno, it was a close affair with rounds going back and forth, but MOUZ had the economic advantage at 10-8.

Wicadia turns it around

In the 23rd round, MOUZ looked poised to break Aurora’s economy and take the map, until Wicadia got a 4k with the AWP.

Two of the kills were through smoke, preventing MOUZ from taking the B-site and the map.

Turning the tables, it was then that Aurora broke MOUZ’s economy, getting up to 11-10.

It was Aurora to reach map point first, as the teams traded rounds.

Aurora closed it out 13-11 with the help of woxic, who got a 3k with the AWP to hold A-site.

A dead even half to open Mirage

Aurora started on the CT-side of Mirage, where woxic shone to continue his effective performance from the last round of Inferno.

MOUZ took the pistol but Aurora responded with a 5-round streak with only a single bomb plant from MOUZ.

Despite their difficulties, MOUZ managed to grind out 3 rounds a the end of the half to tie it all up.

Aurora gone in a flash

MOUZ got the second pistol round of the map, and proceeded to win every CT round, not even letting Aurora plant the bomb once.

The highlight was torzsi, who got 11 kills and only 1 death across the CT-side.
