MiBR release academy captain after lewd in-game gesture with a doll

The 22-year-old player was released by MiBR due to an in-game incident.

Brazilian player, Vitor ‘stormzyn’ Ferreira, has been released by MiBR due to the backlash following an in-game incident interacting with a doll during the Thunderpick South American Championship.

MiBR’s statement confirmed their “detachment” from Ferreira following the incident, due to the organization’s “commitment to values and conduct” for their athletes.

Ferreira’s statement expressed that the gesture was a result of celebrating breaking the opponent’s economy, and that he’d have done “anything that came to mind” in that moment.

He apologized to MiBR at the end of the statement, confirming that his contract had been terminated.
