During the off-season, one of Counter-Strike’s rising stars, Linus “nilo” Bergman, made the leap to tier-one play, joining Danish powerhouse HEROIC.
In an interview with esportmedia.se, Metizport CEO Arjan “Sakken” Sydhagen Dalsøren disclosed the transfer fee for their star player.
According to Sakken, HEROIC paid 2 million NOK—approximately $175,000—for the Swedish rifler.

nilo was undeniably Metizport’s most potent weapon, boasting an impressive 1.20 average rating over the last six months. His move to the upper echelon of Counter-Strike felt inevitable, particularly as HEROIC underwent a significant roster overhaul during the off-season.
Despite joining the team, nilo has yet to make his official debut for HEROIC. However, his first appearance could come this week at the BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals, as the team faces roster complications.
Because Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich has revealed that he’s unable to travel with the team, due to visa issues.
