HEROIC gives update on benched star rifler

Linus "nilo" Bergman was brought in for around $175.000 this off-season.

Ahead of the new season, HEROIC underwent a significant roster overhaul, signing seven new players to their lineup.

One of the standout additions was Swedish prodigy Linus “nilo” Bergman, who joined the team from Metizport. However, when HEROIC debuted their revamped roster at BLAST Bounty Season 1, nilo was notably absent from the team sheet.

Personal issues

Today, the Norwegian organization addressed the situation, issuing a statement that sheds light on nilo’s absence and their plans moving forward.

According to HEROIC, personal circumstances have made the 20-year-old’s transition to Tier 1 Counter-Strike more difficult than anticipated.

– Upon signing the deal with us and starting preparations for the season, Linus encountered personal circumstances that made the significant leap to Tier 1 Counter-Strike particularly challenging at this time, the statement says.

As a result, nilo will remain on the bench for the foreseeable future and will need to fight his way back into the starting lineup.
