The new-look Falcons squad with Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov is off to a great start in their new journey, as the team secured an opening-round win at IEM Melbourne.
In his debut, m0NESY helped Falcons take down SAW 2-0 in a relatively controlled affair at the Australian tournament. The superstar AWPer had a slow start on the server, but found his rhythm on the second map.
On Dust2, m0NESY stepped up with 20 kills and a 1.38 rating , showing why Falcons were so eager to bring him in during the mid-season transfer window.
The strong performance helped seal a clean 2-0 for Falcons and gave the team the perfect start to their Melbourne campaign.
