KSCERATO criticizes Major PCs: “The FPS was SHIT on stage”

An unexpected upset as FURIA exit the Major in the quarterfinals to a blazing hot NAVI.

An unexpected upset as FURIA exit the Major in the quarterfinals to a blazing hot NAVI. The match was never really close as NAVI quickly took a 1-0 lead winning Mirage 13-5. A crazy comeback on Inferno from 3-10 down forced the deciding map of Train, but it was for nothing.

NAVI beat down on FURIA and won the map 13-3 and also the series – meaning they face FaZe for a spot in the grand finals.

Frustrated KSCERATO

After the match we caught Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato for a talk about their season and the game. The headline moment from the talk with the Brazilian was when he, unprompted, almost overheated for a moment.

“The FPS was SHIT on stage”

And while this is a little meta, we sadly could barely hear what KSCERATO was saying during the interview as the mixed zone was too loud, so we didn’t ask what he meant by that, but it was an obviously frustrated KSCERATO. You can watch the full interview at the bottom of the article.

Speaking more of the match the Brazilian was candid of their performance.

“We lost some rounds that we we couldn’t lose and made some bad decision. We lost some 5v3s and other things. It is how the game it is. It’s about the details and if you lose that, it’s hard to come back.”

And while it sometimes simply comes down to who shows up on the day FURIA also seemed to not have the right read a lot of the time. KSCERATO clarifies that’s also what happened, when asked if he had any regrets from the match.

“Mainly wrong read on Mirage some rounds. Maybe I could could call better and the one that was on balcony i whiffed a lot.”

Going out of the Major in the quarterfinals was not what FURIA had hoped for and overall KSCERATO still sees their season as a positive.

“I feel good. I think that we play really good. We improve a lot as a team, that is only together from 7 months. We won four tournaments and we came all the way to the playoffs in the major. So I think overall it was a positive.”
