Early start

Born in Bulgaria and raised in Scotland, Mitev began playing Counter-Strike in 2020 at the age of 12. Initially inspired by former Cloud9 professional Mike “shroud” Grzesiek, Mitev developed a deep dedication to the game. His father, a former Counter-Strike 1.6 player, provided early support by purchasing his first computer and guiding his early routine.

As an AWP player, Mitev drew heavy inspiration from major champion Kenny “kennyS” Schrub and Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev. He integrated their flashy and confident playstyles into his own approach on the server.

His professional path started in a Bulgarian mix team named Quixal before he secured a contract with the academy roster MOUZ NXT at age 15. The move required him to leave traditional schooling to focus entirely on his professional aspirations. At MOUZ NXT, he experienced calling the game as an in-game leader, a demanding transition that helped shape his understanding of server dynamics.

Following his time at MOUZ, Mitev joined the Copenhagen Wolves during the organization’s attempted return to Counter-Strike. Operating primarily as a proactive AWP player who takes the initiative rather than playing passively, he posted strong individual numbers, especially on the CT side.

This aggressive capability earned him a spot in FOKUS Clan, where he transitioned into tier-two competition under the leadership of Erik “ztr” Gustafsson and Jakub “kuben” Gurczynski. In a structured system that demanded space for the riflers, Mitev adapted into a supportive role on the T-side, improving his clutching ability and utility usage.

On July 9, 2026, Team Liquid announced the signing of Mitev to handle the AWP. He became the fourth Bulgarian to reach tier-one Counter-Strike, following Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov, Valentin “poizon” Vasilev, and Alex “Rainwaker” Petrov. Playing alongside veterans like Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski and under the system of Johnny “JT” Theodosiou, the young sniper has found an environment suited to his development.

During his time with FOKUS Clan, Mitev established himself at events like the Urban Riga Open 3, Lorgar Rankings Season 1, and the BC Game Masters Championship. He made his tier-one debut at PGL Bucharest 2026, where FOKUS nearly reached the playoffs behind his strong individual performances against 3DMAX and BC.Game.
