“I have some offers”: s1mple gives brief update on future and buyout

The NAVI star comments on offers, his contract situation, and a buyout price that keeps dropping.

What’s next for Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev?

It’s a question that continues to linger across the Counter-Strike scene, with the Ukrainian superstar still sitting on the sidelines five months after his latest official match.

In a recent stream with popular content creator evelone2004, s1mple gave a brief but telling update on his current situation, hinting at offers and reflecting on his current value in the transfer market.

– I have some offers, kind of, something. The [buyout] price is going down every time as time goes by. You are no longer worth your money, because no one knows what shape you are in, s1mple said on the stream via escorenews.com.

Contract countdown

Aside from two short loan stints with Falcons last year, s1mple has been inactive since October 2023, when he announced an extended break from competitive play.

His time with Falcons, under head coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen, didn’t yield the results many could have expected. The team struggled to find form and ultimately failed to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major, marking a low point for the project.

s1mple remains under contract with NAVI, though his deal is expected to expire at the end of 2025. Whether he returns to action, is transferred elsewhere, or simply sees out the remainder of his contract, remains to be seen.
