Once upon a time before isolation, before corona, and when no one had heard of Valorant, we had Majors. With PGL Major Stockholm right around the corner, it is almost impossible to remember the last Major tournament, because it’s been two whole years since we’ve had one. “NiKo” was still playing for “FaZe“, “G2” was completely french, and legends like “GeT_RiGhT“, “GuardiaN” and “NEO” were still fragging hard.
Back then “Astralis” took home the trophy for the third time in a row, with “device” taking his second Major MVP award. It was a completely different scene, but one just as epic. We don’t know much about what is going to happen at the major since everyone has been playing online CS for such a long time, but what we do know is that we’re in for a treat.
The best of the best often manage to really show what they’re made of when it’s all on the line. And where would there be more on the line than the first Major in two years?
