Legacy is eliminated from the IEM Cologne Major with a 1-3 record.
After a succesful CS Asia Championships campaign, where they defeated Falcons 3-1 in the final, Legacy bow out of the Major in 12th-14th place.
G2 move onto the decider match of Stage 3, awaiting an opponent pending the NAVI vs Falcons series.
G2 won the series against Legacy in 2-0 fashion, with a dominant performance on their map pick.
huNter- and HeavyGod dominated Dust2
The initial stages of Dust2 were back-and-forth, as Legacy always found rounds to prevent G2 from gaining steam. However, once reaching a 4-3 score, G2 went on a five-round run to get a 9-3 lead.
Nemanja ‘huNter-‘ Kovač and Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ Martynenko combined for 23 kills at the half that completely stunted Legacy.
In the second half, Eduardo ‘dumau’ Wolkmer tried his best to keep Legacy in it, getting over 100 damage per round, but G2 eventually got to close it 13-7.
G2 bring their best on Overpass
G2 was in control of Overpass from start to finish, as they had their way with Legacy. This time, Matúš ‘MATYS’ Šimko and Guy ‘NertZ‘ Iluz had Legacy’s number, helping close a 9-3 T-side.
After that, G2 had no issues on their CT-side closing out, winning the map easily 13-4.

The in-game leader takes the cake, leading by example in a team performance that gave their opponents little to no chance. With the highest kills in the series (30) and the most multikills (10), he arrives in good form to the match that will decide their Major fate tomorrow.
