From villains to heroes in London

“Yeah, I think we liked being the villain a bit, like, we liked being the nightmare of the other teams,” flameZ said.

For a change, Vitality got to be the heroes in London this time, due to having UK player William ‘mezii’ Merriman. However, throughout the whole first season, Vitality were the villains in arenas.

“But it’s definitely nice when the crowd is for you. You get the energy. And when people kill, you know, when you kill someone because the crowd is going crazy.”

MOUZ made them lose confidence

“I think we had a good game against MOUZ in Cologne, and we fought a bit, and we lost confidence a bit too much,” flameZ said.

“We lacked the passion we usually had.”

But flameZ was quick to say that they needed to get back into form and there were no excuses for Vitality.

“Everybody else was playing the same tournament as us, maybe we played more best-of-fives, but it was definitely hard to step back into.”

Tomorrow, Vitality will play the victor of the FURIA vs. G2 matchup in the grand final in London.
