First in history: NiKo reaches impressive milestone despite Vitality loss

The record includes NiKo's heartbreaking losses at ELEAGUE Boston Major and PGL Stockholm Major.

Nikola “NiKo” Kovač has added another milestone to his Counter-Strike career.

While Falcons fell just short against Vitality in the BLAST Rivals Grand Final last night, NiKo quietly crossed a Counter-Strike record: 100 maps played in Grand Finals – more than any player in CS history.

At the Copenhagen-based event, the 28-year-old Falcons rifler registered his 103rd Grand Final map, adding to a stat line no one can match when it comes to high-stakes matches.

Since breaking onto the international scene, NiKo has been a consistent presence at the top. Titles like IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, and the BLAST Premier World Final are among his biggest. But the Major trophy – the one piece missing – continues to elude him.
