FalleN after 13-2 win: “We can’t get ahead of ourselves”

Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and the rest of FURIA destroyed NAVI 13-2 to go in to the 1-0 bracket at the StarLadder Budapest Major. Speaking to FalleN after the match it was important to him that the team kept a level head.

“It’s too early to say. There’s so many good teams here and it was just one game. We can’t get ahead of ourselves.”

FURIA have had a great latter half of 2025 as they’ve taken 4 trophies from under the noses of their biggest competitors in Vitality, NAVI, The MongolZ and Falcons. Before their game against NAVI FalleN had a speech for his team with a clear message:

“The speech that I had for my team was ‘just keep doing the things that brought us here’.”

And they definitely did the right things, as molodoy ended the first half on Nuke 18-4 with a 12-0 lead. But the preparation for FURIA hasn’t been without problems as YEKINDAR revealed yesterday.

FalleN and the rest of the team went home to rest for a few days after a 5-tournament traveling spree. The ensuing bootcamp didn’t start the best, FalleN confirmed:

“Energy was low for everyone, we had to chill for a couple of days. Then with 3 or 4 days off when you get back people weren’t playing the best, cause they weren’t playing.”

But not playing didn’t seem to matter today, and towards the end of the bootcamp they found their form again, according to FalleN.

“The beginning [of the bootcamp] was tough but expected and in the last few days, we got to the form we wanted to be in at this Major.”
