It was expected that the three favorites in Group A would be 2-0 by the end of today after the first two rounds of IEM Fall CIS.
Team Spirit lived up the expectations with a clear-cut 16-4 victory against Akuma in a match where every single one of the Spirit players ended the match with positive K-D scores.
While NAVI also had their struggles against Nemiga, it was Entropiq who had to fight the hardest to stay undefeated. On Nuke AVE nailed the first half with a 10-5 score to put Entropiq under maximum pressure. The Czech-owned team quickly found six rounds to tie the match at 11-11. But then Nikita ‘waterfaLLZ’ Matveyev took matters into his own hands. The AWP’er from AVE cleaned out Entropiq with an ace to make it 12-11, which looked like the tipping point of the match. But then Aleksey “El1an” Gusev stepped up and made an incredible clutch to save his team and secure a very important victory.
