Dan “apEX” Madesclaire is widely known as one of Counter-Strike’s most vocal and fiery competitors, but even the king of trash talk seemingly has his limits.
During Vitality’s match against Legacy on Thursday, cameras caught Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco shouting “I’m gonna get you, fat boy” after killing ZywOo — a moment that quickly found its way to social media.
In a reply to the video on X, apEX responded simply:
“Did this guy really said that?”
It’s important to mention that saadzin afterwards has apologised for his use of words, stating it was in the heat of the moment.
“Heat of the moment, I apologize. Nothing but respect for you guys.”
The incident came during one of the most surprising results of the tournament so far, as Legacy defeated Vitality 13-5, ending the French powerhouse’s 30-match winning streak.
