Spirit have advanced to the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 playoffs after defeating Virtus.pro 2-0 in the Group A lower bracket final on Monday. The series ended with back-to-back 13-9 wins on Ancient and Anubis.
Danil “donk” Kryshkovets once again stood out with a dominant performance, supported by strong showings from zont1x and sh1ro, helping Spirit maintain control across both maps.
Since their early loss to MOUZ, Spirit have stepped up in a big way, securing consecutive 2-0 victories over FaZe and now Virtus.pro to clinch a playoff berth.
Spirit will now face the winner of today’s matchup between NAVI and Eternal Fire in the quarterfinals on Friday, while Virtus.pro on the other hand has been eliminated with today’s result.
Other teams confirmed for the playoffs include Vitality, MOUZ, and NAVI, and Eternal Fire.
