New leaked information points to an upcoming Apex Legends event codenamed Breach SWAT, expected to arrive next season. The headline feature of the event is a Peacekeeper mythic skin, continuing Respawn’s recent trend of large-scale mythic weapon events.
As with previous mythic releases, the Breach SWAT event is expected to focus heavily on cosmetics rather than gameplay changes, with a large pool of legendary items tied to milestone-style progression.
Peacekeeper mythic skin coming next season
The Peacekeeper mythic skin is set to be the centerpiece of the Breach SWAT event. While Respawn has not officially revealed the design yet, leaks indicate it will follow the same structure as recent mythic weapon releases.
Based on the current model, players should expect multiple cosmetic tiers, animations, and reactive elements unlocked through event progression rather than a single standalone skin.
Legendary legend skins in the event
According to the leaks, the Breach SWAT event will feature six legendary legend skins, with the following legends currently confirmed:
Alter
Fuse
Newcastle
Rampart
Sparrow
Wraith
This fits the standard structure of recent prestige and mythic weapon events, which usually include six legendary legend cosmetics alongside the main reward.
Legendary weapon skins lineup
The event is also expected to include a wide selection of legendary weapon skins, covering a mix of close-range and staple meta weapons:
- Alternator
- RE-45
- R-301
- Wingman
- Flatline
- Mozambique
This selection mirrors Respawn’s preference for pairing mythic weapons with popular guns that see consistent use across Ranked and pubs.
Epic universal frames instead of epic skins
One notable detail from the leaks is the lack of epic legend skins in the Breach SWAT event. Instead, the event is expected to include:
- 6 Epic universal banner frames
This continues a broader trend seen in recent seasons, where most events avoid epic skins entirely, leaving epic cosmetics primarily tied to the Battle Pass.
Wishlist packs likely becoming the standard
Because many upcoming events are no longer offering epic skins, it is increasingly likely that Wishlist-enabled packs will become the standard format moving forward. With fewer low-tier cosmetics in event pools, Wishlist packs allow Respawn to guide players toward desired legends or weapons while maintaining large cosmetic collections.
This system has already been tested with previous mythic releases and appears to be sticking around, and might be even the system used for the Fuse prestige skin event.
Large cosmetic pools expected again

The current R-99 mythic event includes a massive 53 cosmetic items, and leaks suggest the Peacekeeper mythic could follow the same approach. That would mean a large number of legendary skins, frames, and filler cosmetics required to complete the event.
While many players have expressed frustration with this system, Respawn appears committed to it, likely due to its strong revenue performance.
What this means for future events
If Breach SWAT follows the same structure, future Apex Legends events may continue to prioritize:
- Mythic weapon releases over legend heirlooms
- Large cosmetic pools instead of smaller collections
- Wishlist packs as a core monetization feature
Even with mixed community sentiment, the consistency of this format suggests it will remain a key part of Apex Legends’ event design moving forward.
