apEX spoke about ZywOo and Vitality’s fatigue, drop in individual level and desire to beat theMongolZ.
Team Vitality are looking to get back to their best at BLAST Open London. Today, they face MOUZ in the semi-finals to fight for their first trophy this season.
As apEX put it, Vitality had a season in the first half of 2025 that “no one did before” in Counter-Strike esports, winning 7 out of 8 tournaments.
Despite retaining their number one VRS ranking, the French captain conceded that there is no clear best team at the moment.
He also talked about Vitality’s fatigue from the Counter-Strike circuit.

Individual form dropping off
“The teamplay [from other teams] is not that much better than last season”, apEX said.
“If we go back to the individual level we had last season, it’s gonna be great.”
One of the pieces that has dropped off for Vitality is ZywOo, who is eager to come back to form.
“It’s one of the first time that we see ZywOo dropping off for a bit longer than usual, it’s a bit weird, but it’s life,” apEX said.
“He really wants to come back and show his level, I don’t know if the top 1 is in his mind, but he wants to show his form and help the team win trophies […]”
Rivalry with TheMongolZ
We asked apEX if he thought Vitality was still number one, and if TheMongolZ and Spirit’s absence was an opportunity.
“Actually, for now, I think there is no clear number one,” apEX said. “Spirit won two tournaments but crumbled in the other two […]”.
“When I win trophies, I want to beat everyone, I want to get back to beat MongolZ,” apEX said. “They won 2 times out of 12 games this year […] it was nice to give them a few games but we want to get back there.”
Vitality will face MOUZ today at 15:30 CEST in the semi-final of BLAST Open London.
