At around 04:00 (CET) this Wednesday, the game developers from Valve released its 11th update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive called “Operation Riptide”. The new update consists of a series of important and remarkable changes to the competitive CS:GO scene. One of them is that you know can drop grenades to your teammates as you do with weapons. This will undoubtedly change the meta concerning grenades and how they are used in the future.

Josiah “JoJo” Jimenez from Mythic has already shown one clear effect of the new update in action, despite Operation Riptide only having been out for six hours. In the video below, the 20-year-old North American demonstrates how you can clear multiple angles by only using one flashbang, as he only drops the flashbang, which means it doesn’t trigger.
