2026: a new champion will be crowned in Shanghai
NRG’s title defence ended in the lower bracket, so 2026 will produce a sixth different world champion. Four teams are left going into the final weekend:
Team Vitality
LOUD
100 Thieves
G2 Esports
LOUD are the only one of the four to have won the title before. A win on Sunday would make them the first organization to become world champion twice.
