With Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo announcing his retirement at the end of the year, FURIA will have to find a replacement for the captaincy. Luiz ‘peacemaker’ Tadeu, one of Brazil’s most decorated coaches, gave his formal recommendations in a long-form article for Skin Club about replacing FalleN.
Investing in European talent and leaving biguzera at the door
In his write-up, peacemaker made clear that investing in the top talent is key for FURIA to remain elite.

With this in mind, he dismissed Rodrigo ‘Biguzera’ Bittencourt as a candidate, despite being a leader that managed consistency and a Major semi-final before with a South American team.
While acknowledging biguzera as a great “system-builder”, he said that he would not have the authority to implement his vision into an experienced squad like FURIA.
Instead, he recommended Aulon ‘Krabeni’ Fazlija as the “main target” for FURIA.

He added that Linus “LNZ” Holtäng and Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen would be good pivot options, due to their ability to adapt culturally and read opponents in-game, respectively.
