VALORANT players, mark your calendars. The next Night Market is right around the corner, and we already know exactly which skin collections will be eligible for a massive discount. Plus, a highly credible leaker has dropped a massive hint about the unannounced Champions 2026 melee weapon.
Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming store updates.
October Night Market Release Date & Eligibility
According to the latest leaks, the next VALORANT Night Market is expected to return around October 1st.
However, do not expect to see the newest skins from Act 4 or Act 5. VALORANT’s strict eligibility rules state that a skin collection must have been released at least two acts prior to the current one to enter the random discount pool. Because this upcoming Night Market takes place during Season 2026 Act 5, the eligible skins will cut off at Act 3 releases.
Which Skins Can You Get?
Here is a breakdown of what you can expect to see based on the price tiers:
- Premium Edition (1,775 VP weapons / under 3,550 VP melee): Fan favorites like Reaver, Prime, and Forsaken remain in the eligible pool.
- Deluxe Edition (1,275 VP weapons): Collections like Luna, Holamoku, and Emberclad can appear.
- Select Edition (875 VP weapons): You might see skins from the Daydreams or Switchback lines.
Because the cutoff is Act 3, several newer collections will be making their Night Market debut this October. These newly eligible skins include Silk Leaf, Wasteland 2.0, Holamoku, Emberclad, and Switchback.
The Champions 2026 Fan Melee Rumor
While the Night Market offers old favorites, the community is heavily focused on the upcoming Champions 2026 bundle.
A prominent Chinese VALORANT streamer named Hung Hong has sparked massive rumors by repeatedly drawing attention to fan-style melees on his streams. The Chinese community strongly believes he has insider information regarding the upcoming collection.
Why trust this rumor?
- Last year, Hung highlighted butterfly-style melees right before the Champions collection was officially revealed to feature a butterfly knife.
- He was also reportedly the very first person to leak that the Aeris bundle’s melee would feature a playing card design.
With his recent hints, it is highly likely that the highly anticipated Champions 2026 melee will be a fighting fan.
